With a very crucial voting period approaching this year, LWVNLM wants to be a presence in our communities, offering information about voting and promoting the importance of voting.

The LWVNLM plans to staff tables at Farmers’ Markets and other community events starting in May, continuing until our elections in November.  The tables will have information that encourages voting and that instructs voters how to be informed.

Attend Monday’s meeting to learn more about how to reach out to people, while working a table.  We will have samples of the handouts, that will be on the information tables, and we will have members speaking about: 

• Handouts, 

• Sign-up genius, 

• Remaining non-partisan, and

• How to engage people at your table

Please plan to attend.  Even if you only volunteer for one date, your commitment is appreciated and will help us make a difference!
