Michigan Legislature Proposes Sweeping Election Law Changes

The Michigan legislature has proposed numerous changes to the voting system, despite evidence that the 2020 election was fair, well-conducted, and properly counted. You can read about these proposals in Bridge Magazine. Here is a link to Bridge Magazine articles about proposed changes to voting laws. Many of these proposals are unnecessary, and will make it more difficult for voters and for local governments.

Please review these proposals, and make your views known to your State Representative (Damoose for Emmet County, Borton for Charlevoix County), and your State Senator, Wayne Schmidt.
